Campers have plenty to do both indoors and outdoors, so bad weather never casts a cloud on the fun. Lunch and snack are given daily, and the camps are nut-free. Early drop-off and late pick-up are available for parents with busy schedules. The Tennis, Fitness and Arts Camp (TFA/6+) offers daily tennis lessons, gym time, arts and crafts, swimming lessons and free-swim periods. The traditional track of TFA is run every week of the summer. They also offer optional specialty tracks combined with TFA for dance (offered 4 weeks), musical theater (2 weeks) and acro (2 weeks).
The Energy Center camp is for Ages 3-5 years 11 months and includes tennis lessons, free swim, tumbling and gym activities, arts and crafts, free play and theme days. The Weymouth Club also offers summer memberships, a summer swim team and swim lessons.
Half Day and Full Day Camps in Hanover & Hingham. Both will feature the usual SSBC instruction with lectures, drills, contests and plenty of baseball.
Weekly classes. HMC’s youth sailing programs provide children the opportunity to learn about and participate in the sport of sailing with emphasis on seamanship, skills and teamwork in a safe, fun-filled and hands-on class formats.
Half Day and Full Day options. Weir River’s Farm Camp deepens the connections between campers and farm life through barnyard chores, games, and other farm activities.
Half Day and Full Day Options. World’s End Camp offers daily nature adventures for campers who love adventures in the natural world. A magical mix of education, adventure, and free time also allows campers to enjoy exploring, games, and crafts of their choosing.
Half Day and Full Day Options in Hanover. The SSNSC Nature Adventures Camp offers exciting opportunities for children to learn about the natural world. Campers will; develop an awareness, appreciation, and concern for our environment and the creatures in it; explore the habits and habitats of animals living in our woods, ponds, meadows, and along the shore; and learn about natural science through stories, hikes, games, crafts, and a host of other fun-filled activities.
Half Day and Full Day Options at Derby Academy in Hingham. ASA Hoops Nike Basketball Camps are designed for the player looking to improve their overall game and basketball IQ. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, shooting technique, offense and defense work, and team play.
Half Day, Full Day and Extended Day options available. Dolly’s presents each child with a variety of daily activities, including daily swim classes, weekly field trips, computer play, nature hikes, arts & crafts, special guests and music.
Half Day, Full Day and Extended Day options at Thayer Academy in Braintree. Transportation from Hingham to and from camp available as well. Camp Thayer is a place where children can spend part of the summer exercising their bodies and minds, while they learn new skills, make new friends, and have lots of fun. Each week offers a variety of sports and specialty camps, including baseball and football, theater, science, and much more.
Half Day programs for younger campers, and 2-5 week options for full day camp for older campers. Derby Summer Arts is a comprehensive arts program that allows children to explore the full range of performing and visual arts. Each child selects his or her own schedule from over 100 hundred courses in visual art, dance, drama, media,music, photography, writing, engineering and technology, and sports. All courses are taught by professional artists and offer children the opportunity to discover their individual talents and develop skills in the arts.
Half Day, Full Day and Extended Day programs. Younger kids’ sessions encourage activity and learning through a focus on stories, math, shape, songs, arts and crafts, outdoor games, water play, scavenger hunts, theme days, field trips and workshops. Older kids have the option to enjoy tennis, golf and swim with exclusive access to all Rec. Dept. fields and facilities, indoor basketball gym, volleyball court, in-line skate rink, baseball and soccer fields and playground. Campers enjoy weekly field trips to South Shore Country Club, specialized sports and arts, entertainers, and theme days. Teens can experience field days, harbor days, beach days & trips to local attractions.
Weekly, Monday through Friday 9AM-1PM in Hull. The program consists of personalized surf instruction on the beach and in the water. The focus of our weekly sessions include surf instruction, ocean safety, lifesaving activities, and beach games. Top of the line surfboards and wetsuits are provided to all participants. We have everything from soft top surfboards for safety conscious beginners to high performance longboards and shortboards. Campers may choose from the extensive variety of boards to help meet their surfing interests and abilities.
Running in Hanover for only the week of 7/20-7/24. Camp Invention is a nationally acclaimed summer program where STEM concepts come to life through teamwork and immersive, hands-on creative problem-solving.
All programs at Holly Hill Farm in Cohasset run Monday through Friday from 9AM to Noon, unless otherwise listed. The wildlife and farm animals are just part of what sets the one or two-week camp programs at Holly Hill apart. Another aspect is through farming, exploration and outdoor adventures. The programs seek to connect children to the natural world in a way that will stick with them for life. Kids at farm camp hike through salt marshes and historic growing fields to study vernal pools in the woods. Campers who participate in the cooking programs eat nourishing meals with herbs and vegetables from the very gardens that they’ve been tending.
Summer Weekly Class Time is 9-11AM Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at Harmon Golf Club in Rockland. Help your child learn the sport of golf with group classes. Instructors coordinate these programs to make golf easier to understand for children. Your junior golfer will cover the following: Etiquette & Rules, Full Swing with Iron, Full Swing with Woods, Chipping, Pitching, Putting. Class ratios are four students to one instructor. Rock Jr. Golf will provide golf clubs for no additional fee if your jr. golfer does not have them.
Every Tuesday beginning May 21 (Class will not be held the Week of 4th of July) and ending August 20 from 4-5:30PM. Boys and Girls will be learning all aspects of golf with a focus on the fundamentals of the golf swing. Kids will learn all aspects from the full swing to proper etiquette. Each week the junior will receive beginner instruction in the 4 major areas of golf; Full Swing, Putting, Chipping and Pitching. Proper golf etiquette is also taught in this class.
Full Day and Partial Day opportunities in Duxbury. You can choose specialty camps in Marine Science, Power Boating, Rowing, Sailing, Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, Windsurfing and Yoga. There are also Full Day camps which include a little bit of everything for children ages 7-11 years old.
Half Day, Full Day and Single Day options available in Norwell. Head Over Heels offers a fun and flexible camp program for kids of all abilities. Children are grouped by age and ability, so whether you are just starting out or are an advanced gymnast, you will have both a fun and challenging experience here at Head Over Heels. Half Day camp is entirely gymnastics while Full Day also enjoys lunch, games, arts and crafts, EXTRA gym time, and swimming at Webb Pro Fitness.
Full Day, Half Day and Extended Day options. The Full day camp program is structured for boys and girls ages 5 and up. The emphasis of the camp is to provide a fun atmosphere where there is plenty of gymnastics instruction on all of the Olympic events, Tumble Trak, foam pit and open gym time. Along with gymnastics, they incorporate lots of fun contests, arts and crafts, free swim and cooperative games and prizes. All of our weeks are action packed, each with a different theme and special event.
The South Shore YMCA in Hanover offers a variety of Camp options throughout the Summer months. Choose from a traditional day camp, arts camp, tennis camp, nature camp or even an overnight camp; there is something for everybody.
The South Shore Conservatory’s summer programs inspire music, dance and drama students to perfect their skills and meet students from other towns who share the same passion for the arts. There’s something for everyone at SSC over the summer months. Various programs available on campuses in Hingham & Duxbury.
The Hingham Community Center Summer Programs offers a wide variety of experiences right here in Hingham with flexible schedule options and affordable pricing. This summer HCC will offer programs in science, technology, art and fitness…just to name a few. There is fun for every child. You can customize your summer program schedule to fit your family’s summer plans.
One week sessions with Half Day and Full Day options depending on age. The unique location atop scenic Chickatawbut Hill in Milton invites campers to discover nature through hands-on exploration, creative play, and active learning. Each session features an age-appropriate theme intended to deepen a child’s understanding and awareness of the natural world. Small camp groups and experienced, caring staff create a friendly and safe atmosphere on "the hill.”
Half Day, Full Day and Drop In options located in Cohasset. Campers are provided with the experience of learning and playing a variety of exciting sports and games including; Dodgeball, Soccer, Flag Football, Capture the Flag, Wiffle Ball, Cricket and more on the indoor turf field. Summer Camp is held indoors, rain or shine.
Currently running June 22-26 only, but a second week might be added. Hingham Conditioning is a series of soccer camps held at the youth level during the Winter and Summer months. Clinic Highlights: Theme Days, Players of the Day, Players of the Week, World Cup Tournament in all age groups, Players will be broken up into teams and will represent a country, the players will earn points in a variety of ways, culminating with tournament style play on Friday. For boys and girls entering K-8th Grade Fall 2020.
Pilgrim Skating Arena offers summer programs for all levels: learn to skate, programs to teach new players the game of hockey and programs to help current players improve their skills.
Summer Toddler Playschool is an enrichment program for children ages 2-4 in Norwell. Once a week your child can explore art, music, movement and friendships. This is a great way for your little ones to experience a morning on their own, building confidence, friendships, and independence. Summer session will run 9AM-Noon, Monday through Friday, for 8 weeks. Summer offerings also include Wacky Wednesdays and Fun Fridays, along with classes geared toward babies and toddlers with caregivers.
Full Day only. Summer Adventure Camp will keep your kids engaged all day with a roster of climbing challenges, games, team building exercises and more. In addition to climbing, ninja training, and zip-line, themes are incorporated into each day at camp.
Summer at Inly in Scituate provides an opportunity for children to investigate nature, art, and theater, innovate with new tools and technologies, and invigorate their bodies and minds while learning new skills and making new friends. Every session offers a different theme.
Full Day, Half Day and Extended Day options. Su Escuela Language Academy’s Summer Program is full immersion in Spanish for ages 3 months to 7 years old. The Explorers & Adventurers programs allow children to explore, learn, and discover the world through science, art and literature through a new theme each week. Weekly themes are the same for all ages, but the depth of the projects vary greatly by age groups.
Full Day, Half Day and Extended Day options. Drive home services can be provided at 4:30PM. All children in both sessions will have the opportunity to experience the places and spaces of Miss Donna’s Place property, as well as our daily field trips. Activities include caring for goats/rabbits/chickens, mud kitchen play, ropes course, fairy garden and secret garden, daily field trips, water slide, arts & crafts and nature trail adventures. Beginner tennis lessons and other cooperative games will be played each day, as well as, time for water fun. There will also be a daily physical component where different ball games or (the NEW) game series are used to promote team building and problem solving. Off-site activities might include, beachcombing at Nantasket, hikes in Wompatuck, fishing, tennis, frogging and salamander hunting.
Weekly options for 4 hours each day at Rexhame Beach in Marshfield. Beach based activities focused on surfing, as will as standup paddleboarding, skimboarding, body boarding, ocean safety, snorkeling, tide pools, environmental education and beach games. All equipment is for all activities in included.
North River Nature Day Camp 4.5-14
Full Day from 9AM-3PM with extended day option available until 5PM in Marshfield. Campers have fun, make friends, and experience nature through outdoor play and discovery at our 225-acre wildlife sanctuary. Daily activities include trail explorations, habitat investigations, hands-on experiments, wildlife observation, creative games and crafts and more.
Bay Farm Montessori Academy in Duxbury offers summer programming for children ages 18 months to 12 years. A rich blend of fun, learning, and relaxation, children enjoy cooking, craft-making, field sports, music, dance, swimming, tennis skills, and more -- all under the guidance of Bay Farm’s dedicated teachers. The summer program nurtures creativity, curiosity, and peaceful exploration of particular themes.
Half Day and Full Day options at the Company Theatre in Norwell. The Academy of The Company Theatre Summer Workshop is for students ages 8-18. Each student chooses six classes per day. ACT Summer Workshop offers over seventy classes in the performing and visual arts.
Sew Simple is located in Norwell. Learning how to sew lets your child express their creativity, learn patience, and take pride in their finished product. Sew Simple’s goal is to have happy, confident children who become great sewers. Because children learn at their own pace, we have projects that are suitable for all ages.
Rise Above Basketball's "Summer Skills Basketball Camps" pres. by New Balance were created to give each athlete the opportunity to better develop their individual & team game through skills training, hands on coaching & productive feedback. Offering all-boys and co-ed camps in Hingham & Hanover. RAB places a strong emphasis on the fundamental values of the game while also making sure to stay within today's style of play.
Half Day and Full Day programs available. Hidden Hollow Farm in Pembroke offers children from beginners to advanced a safe and friendly place to learn and further develop their riding skills. The proper and safe way to lead, groom, saddle, and mount a horse or pony is taught. As well as how to stop and steer a horse while riding. In addition horse anatomy, about related tack, horse care and feeding will be discussed. And lots of games, on the ground with horses, as well as in the saddle are played.
Full Day only. The Summer Intensive is an extension of the curriculum offered in the SS Ballet Theatre’s year round program and open to ballet students from all schools. The full day programs includes guest teachers as well as enrichment classes such as jazz, modern, ball room dance, conditioning, and character.
