It’s the penultimate goal of any little leaguer – to play in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA in mid-August. That journey starts now as thousands of kids across the globe playing in local qualifying rounds hoping to move on.
This year’s team already has two wins under their belt with 3-2 win over East Braintree and a 10-0 win vs Whitman-Hanson. They have two more games in the opening round-robin play – today at 6pm in Braintree and Wednesday night at home (Carlson Field) vs Cohasset at 6pm.
The team is coached by Bill McCarthy, Matt Hart and John Smallcomb.
