For only the 4th time in Hingham High School Wrestling History, a Harbormen has won a State Title. Senior Kaya Bogle accomplished this over the weekend at the MIAA State Wrestling Meet in Methuen. Bogle, a 5 seed in the 132 weight class, continued to win over the 2-day tournament, beating the top seed in the semi-finals. This set up a rematch from last week's Divisional Finals against North Andover's Ethan Ford, who won on what some are calling a controversial call. Bogle beat Ford 11-7 claiming the title. He now moves on to the Regional Finals next week in Methuen.

Also qualifying for States was Sophomore Maddie Eikinas. She lost in the qualifying round, but had a big pin against the 3rd seed wrestler in the consolation rounds. She finished the tournament with a 1-2 record.
