Membership Rates Remain Unchanged For 2020, Daily Fee Rates to Increase Slightly
The South Shore Country Club is now accepting membership applications for the upcoming 2020 golf season allowing golfers to golf as much as they want, when they want.
There will be no change in the fee for season long memberships but daily play rates will see a $5 increase on weekend tee times.
“A big reason for the slight increase in the daily fee rates is that we’ve given up a few tee-times during the course of the day in order to speed up the pace of play and the feedback has been tremendous,” said Kevin Whalen, Executive Director of the South Shore Country Club. “By spreading tee times out to every 10 minutes the waiting time at holes has essentially been eliminated and people have noticed,” said Whalen.
Benefits of membership go beyond the ability of not having to pay daily golf fees. Members also are allowed to book preferred T-Times, including coveted weekend morning times.
In addition, members have use of the driving range, entrance into members only events, Free GHIN Golf Handicap, Two Free Guest passes per year, Weekday discounts for guests, discounted golfing in the PGA Simulators.
The South Shore Country Club has a variety of membership options from juniors right through to seniors but the two most prominent levels are “Unlimited” and “Limited.” The major distinction between the two levels is the ability to book weekend morning tee-times. Unlimited memberships can now be purchased for $2,500 while limited memberships can be purchased for $1,725.
