For nearly 100 years, Wilder has weathered every storm of American history through our tradition of safety, love, and nurturing of Hingham’s youngest citizens. Together We Can persevere through this challenging environment.

1. Words of Encouragement: Wilder has partnered with South Shore Yard Cards to create a display featuring our children's artwork that says "Together We Can". This message is meant to inspire our school community and beyond as pandemic news creates a grim winter outlook.

2. Food Drive: This week and next, we are having a food drive to collect non-perishable items for Hingham Food Pantry in advance of the holiday season. We hope to support local families who are struggling.

3. Shop Local: We have replaced our school’s Fall Fundraiser, which typically includes auction of contributions from local businesses, with an initiative to give back to our community’s small businesses. Participating downtown Hingham businesses will be given a "Together We Can” sign to display in the window, as well as a stamp. For a week in early December we are encouraging WiIder families to shop local. If they come in and browse in a participating store, they are eligible to receive a stamp.  Six stamps spell WILDER combined with a receipt from at least 1 participating store and they will be entered to win a very valuable prize!
