Hingham students participating in 2019 National History Day have prepared either documentaries, websites, exhibits, research papers or performances on the theme “Triumph and Tragedy” and have been selected by judges from the community to represent Hingham at the regional, state and national level. Guests are welcome to view their work at the Heritage Museum before they advance to regional competition. A detailed schedule will be available the day of the event but visitors can expect six ten minute documentaries – introduced by the film makers – in the 3rd Floor Gillis Reading Room, three individual performances in the Museum’s Kelly Gallery and over a dozen students presenting their exhibits, websites and research papers in the museum ballroom. Family History Day is open to the public and donations are welcome.
