This upcoming week will feature mild temperatures around town, but that comes with a price: several chances of rain showers.
Sunny Start to the Week
The showers on Sunday will be long gone by Monday, leaving us with beautiful sunshine to start the week.
The catch is that a gusty northwest wind will be blowing all day, sending in the new, drier airmass.
Daytime temperatures will be near 60, after morning temperatures begin the day in the 40s.
Tuesday will also offer bring a good deal of sun, particularly in the morning, before clouds creep in during the afternoon.
It will be a little warmer, thanks to the west-southwest wind, so expect high temperatures closer to 70 degrees.
Unsettled Remainder of the Week
From Wednesday through Friday, temperatures will stay above average, but we'll be fighting unsettled conditions.
Wednesday will likely be warmest, with temperatures in South Hingham in the 70s. A light seabreeze will likely keep areas in Crow Point, and closer to the water, in the low to middle 60s.
There will be a fair amount of clouds around, with a few spot showers during the day, but the emphasis is really on spot showers. The vast majority of the day will be dry.
The story is fairly unchanged on Thursday and Friday. Temperatures during the day will be in the low 60s with a decent amount of clouds, and the occasional rain shower.
Allergy Report
Trees around town continue to come alive, meaning the pollen count is high.
That may explain your scratchy eyes or sneezes.
Birch, maple, oak, hickory, poplar, and juniper are the highest pollen counts on the South Shore right now.
