JON MICHAEL GILMAN NAUGHTON

Naughton, Jon Michael Gilman of Hull, formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed on Saturday, May 22, 2021, peacefully at home after a multi-year battle with illness. He was 76. Born in Milton on September 29, 1944, he was the son of the late Roger and Edna (McLaughlin). Husband and love of Donna Jean (Haggerty) for 48 years. Brother of the late Maureen (Naughton) Ledwell, Karen Beth Naughton, and Charles C. Gilman. Known as “Juan Miguel” and “Jon Jon” to his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Jon worked as a service representative with Eastman Kodak until his retirement in 2003. He was also a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast. At Jon’s request, visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jon’s graveside service on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 11AM in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Jon’s name to Hospice of the South Shore, 30 Reservoir Park Dr., Rockland, MA 02370.   3. A good friend growing up in JP and cross country Bicentennial (1976) motorcycle trip partner on our 1976 Harley Sporsters. 10,706 miles in 76 days. RIP my friend.

  7. Jon was like a big brother to the whole Kodak team… he would make you laugh and always had your back. If a Kodak visitor wanted to see the real Boston.. he would go out of his way and bring them to Doyle’s… for a lobster. RIP my good friend and sincere condolences to Donna and family from the old Kodak family

  9. Donna, we were so sorry and sad to hear about Jon He was a very special guy who always had a smile, friendly words and funny stories to share. He never changed over the years since the good old days in JP. We keep you both in our prayers.

    Not sure if you remember me Shirley , the girl who borrowed your favorite jeans ! I am so sorry for your loss ❤️ I always remember admired you both as a loving couple such a role model to me and I did not have many growing up.
