South Shore, MA - Clandestine Kitchen, LLC (“CK”), a healthy home and corporate meal delivery service on Boston’s south shore, has been a proud supporter of Rosie’s Place for many years.  On Tuesday, September 21st, the CK team will be delivering 100 farm-to-table, organic, healthy meals to the Boston-based community center in an ongoing outreach effort to bring nutrition, wellness and locally-sourced ingredients to communities and service organizations in need of relief and support.

Rosie’s Place, a multi-service community center located in Boston, MA offers poor and homeless women emergency shelter, meals, a food pantry, job search assistance and more, helping more than 12,000 women each year.

In 2019, the CK team took over the Rosie’s Place kitchen, wearing the Rosie’s Place signature red aprons and CK merchandise designed by local musician/artist, Aldous Collins, created for CK in support of Rosie’s Place, and prepared and served a healthy meal for guests. CK also made a generous monetary donation, generated by the sale of the limited edition CK + Aldous Collins collection, to help fund programs and outreach efforts at the center.

“We had hoped our CK “kitchen takeover” at Rosie’s Place would be an annual tradition for our team but, with restrictions and safety provisions in place due to COVID-19, we have been unable to physically cook for guests at the center these past 2 years. We reached out to devise another way we could help and are thrilled to be doing what we do best – delivering  and sharing our delicious, healthy food.  We will not only be feeding the guests at Rosie’s Place this year but, also feeding the incredibly hard-working staff, giving them a day off and an opportunity to nourish and care for themselves as well,” says CK owner and Hingham resident, Courtney Doyle.

The guests and staff at Rosie’s Place will be enjoying CK’s signature dairy-free, nut-free Pesto Pasta Salad made with organic roasted vegetables from local farms, organic Italian sausage from Kinnealey Meats, fresh herbs, and SalterieOne locally-made sea salt.

“Sharing our passion for creating food using local, farm-to-table ingredients, and being given the opportunity to provide nourishment and self-care to women in our communities is a blessing. I am so proud of our team and our mission to always give back, no matter the obstacles we are all facing during these times. Where there is a will, there is a way and we are here to walk the walk towards a brighter future for all, “ says Doyle.

CK is also collecting monetary donations for Rosie’s Place to be delivered to the center along with meal delivery on Tuesday, September 21st. Contributions can be made via CK’s Venmo at @CKcleaneats and will be presented to the team at Rosie’s Place next week.
