In her spare time, Pat enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do for the people in her life. Pat was known as the "Movie Queen" to friends and family since she loved watching movies and going to the movie theater with her husband, Paul.
Pat was a gentle woman who was also loving, kind and supportive. Her life lessons and example are part of her legacy that continue through her family and students. She will be missed by all the lives she touched.
Pat was the beloved wife of Paul F. Callahan of Hingham. The two married on August 22, 1970, in Sacred Heart Church in Quincy. Together they shared 51 loving years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Heather Loew and her husband Max of Foxboro, and Jeff Callahan and his wife Yumiko of Tokyo, Japan. Pat was the loving grandmother of Matthew and Tyler Loew, both of Foxboro, as well as Kenny and Melody Callahan, both of Tokyo. She was the dear sister of Maureen Flaherty and her husband Thomas of Cohasset, Kate Sawkiewicz and her partner Susan Jackson of Duxbury, Jane Shore and her late husband George of Braintree, John McGrath and his wife Marla of Boca Raton, Florida, Larry McGrath of East Bridgewater and his wife Robin, Robert McGrath of Louisville, Kentucky, and the late Stephen McGrath.
