Patricia Ann Rose (Kellett) the widow of Joseph Patrick Rose, formally of Mansfield and Foxboro, MA passed away peacefully under hospice care on December 28, 2021, in Debary, FL.
Born in Boston June 23, 1939, daughter of Owen and Mary J. Kellett (McCann) she was raised in Jamaica Plain, MA, a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School and Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School. Patricia worked as an executive secretary for Stop & Shop Corporate in Boston and Bradlees in Foxboro.
She resided in Mansfield for 46 years and enjoyed her retirement in Florida for the past 12 years.
Devoted Mother of James Rose (Ann, deceased) of Norton, Kathy Tripp (Terry) of Fort Myers, FL, Brian Rose (Marlene) of Omaha, NE, Maureen Fyfe (Gary) of Pawtucket, RI, the late Michael Rose (Meda), Mary Ann Blackmur (Stanley) of Hingham, Daniel Rose (Susannah) of Austin, TX, and Robert Rose (Julie) of Richmond, VA.
Grandmother to twenty grandchildren ages 42 years to 9 years old and great grandmother to nineteen great grandchildren ages 25 years to 6 weeks old.
Sister of Owen Kellett of Wayland, Josephine Margeson of Springfield, and the late Lt. Daniel M. Kellett, U.S. Army, Thomas Kellett and Kathleen D’ Antona.
As the daughter of Irish immigrants Patsy was proud of her Northern Irish heritage and enjoyed spending time hosting her family and friends from Belfast and around the world. Baking her famous Irish bread was a tradition that many looked forward to each year. Family was important, Patsy cooked Sunday dinners at the family home as her family grew bringing children, spouses, grandchildren, and friends together to feed their bodies and souls creating lifelong memories.

A funeral mass and Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 15. 2022 at 9:00am at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street Mansfield, MA. The funeral mass will be available to view online https://stmarymans.org/
