South Shore Ballet Theatre (SSBT), the region’s pre-professional ballet school, presents two magical, family-friendly “Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Parties” on Saturday, December 3, with seatings from 11 am to 12 noon, and from 1 to 2 pm, at Hingham Community Center, 70 South Street, Hingham.

Conjure up visions of sugar plums with the young and young-at-heart and capture the magic of the holiday season by enjoying afternoon tea hosted by the Sugar Plum Fairy herself! Guests are invited to enjoy delicious treats as they take in a costumed dancer preview performance with excerpts from SSBT’s beloved annual holiday tradition production of “The Nutcracker”. Guests mingle with the beautifully costumed dancers in the fairytale-like setting, an unforgettable afternoon for all!

SSBT’s “The Nutcracker” performs Saturday and Sunday, December 17 and 18, at Thayer Academy’s Center for Performing Arts in Braintree. Enjoy the holiday magic with the whole family. Tickets are affordably priced between $20 to $30, available beginning November 15 at 29965.danceticketing.com/landing.cfm.
