Did you know that Cleaner Greener Hingham is proposing a bylaw limiting the sale of water in single use plastic containers in Hingham? Under this bylaw, retailers would no longer offer sales of plain water in plastic containers under one gallon. The Town would similarly be unable to buy plain water in these containers. Passing this bylaw would put us in the company of 24 other Massachusetts towns with similar restrictions already in effect.
