Massachusetts Scholastic Art And Writing Awards Recognizes Eight Hingham High School Students

Eight Hingham High School students were recognized by the Massachusetts Scholastic Art and Writing Awards on March 18-19, 2023.  Out of over 10,000 entries in the 2022-2023 statewide competition from grades 7-12, six HHS students were presented with the Silver Key Award and nine Honorable Mentions were earned.  The recognized students are:

The Massachusetts Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, sponsored by the Boston Globe Foundation in partnership with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University, provides recognition, exhibition, publication and scholarship opportunities to thousands of talented young artists and writers across the Commonwealth each year. Entries are selected for Gold Keys, Silver Keys and Honorable Mentions without knowledge of the student’s gender, age, ethnicity or hometown by some of the foremost leaders in the visual and literary arts. Gold Key winners move forward to the national level.  Notable national award alumni include: Truman Capote, Andy Warhol, John Updike, Stephen King, Zac Posen and Amanda Gorman.
