The 8th Annual Pony Up for a Cause, Kentucky Derby Party is happening on Saturday, May 6th at the South Shore Country Club from 4:00-9:00pm. The annual, sell-out event celebrates the Kentucky Derby and raises money for a local cause each year.
Event proceeds will benefit South Shore Health. South Shore Health is a wonderful cause that benefits so many locally with their best-in-class care right here in our backyard on the South Shore.
Early-bird tickets are $75 per person through April 25th (last year this event sold out so don’t wait!). Tickets available here.
The event will feature passed appetizers, live music (a bluegrass band and DJ), as well as silent auction items, raffles and prizes for best dressed attendees. Hats, fascinators and festive Derby attire is strongly encouraged for all attendees.
The Pony Up committee was founded by Hingham natives Hilary Jenison, Alyssa Scordo (now of Scituate), Sarah Melia and Lois Blowers seven years ago as a way to celebrate one of their favorite days of the year – the Kentucky Derby – while giving back to their community. They are very grateful to have Christine Smith and Patty McDonald as the expert party planner extraordinaires on the committee.

If you’re interested in sponsorship or donating a silent auction item, please reach out to ponyupcommittee@gmail.com.
Whether you are a returning guest or a new one, we hope you will join us on May 6th to Pony Up for a great cause!
