SSC Student Jazz, Rock and Pop Musicians Take Center Stage

unnamed-4

South Shore Conservatory (SSC) invites the public to an exciting night of jazz, rock and pop music presented by SSC’s Jazz/Rock/Pop (JRP) students on Thursday, June 13, at 6 pm in the Jane Carr Amphitheater, One Conservatory Drive in Hingham.  This JRP Spotlight Festival is the fifth of six performances in SSC’s 2018/2019 season of its Jazz/Rock/Pop Series. The Festival is free and open to the public.

At the Spotlight Festival, SSC’s young contemporary musicians perform their prepared piece on stage in front of a live audience and a panel of supportive faculty members. Artists receive feedback and certificates from judges and a panel of their peers. Audience members are invited to listen to the mix of acts and decide for themselves which act was their favorite.

South Shore Conservatory is committed to being an organization that welcomes the widest range of audience members possible - removing barriers to participation and welcoming everyone in, regardless of ability.  Both its Hingham and Duxbury campuses are wheelchair accessible.  For more detailed information about accessibility, please visit SSC’s Know Before You Go page.
