Please join us on Sunday, Aug. 6, at the Hingham Harbor Bandstand, 95 Otis St., as we present the Suicide Awareness & Remembrance Flag to the Partyka Family of Hingham.
This event is in cooperation with the American Legion, VFW, Marine Corps League, the SAR Flag Family, local agencies, and others in our shared commitment to break the stigma of mental health, suicide, and seeking treatment within our warrior culture in our common goal to End Veteran/Military Suicide Together.
This Special Remembrance Ceremony will be held for Hingham’s own, USMC St Matthew P. Partyka. (Muster at 10:30 a.m. — attendees are asked to be seated by 10:45 a.m.)
The SAR Remembrance Ceremony begins at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Grand Army of the Republic Memorial Hall, 358 Main St., Hingham.
This event is hosted by the Town of Hingham Veterans’ Services Department.
