Mark your calendar for South Shore Health’s Moonlight & Miracles Gala to be held on Friday, October 20 at the Weymouth Club in Weymouth, Mass.
This spectacular South Shore event will once again deliver a magical and exceptional evening that makes the Moonlight and Miracles Gala so unique. Funds raised from the Gala will help benefit emergency services and programs at South Shore Health, including the Digger & Susan Donahue Emergency Department, Level II Trauma Center, and Mobile Integrated Health Program.
“This year’s Gala will highlight the importance of emergency services and programs that help provide immediate medical care for our patients and families with urgent or life-threatening conditions,” said Lauren Spencer, Senior Vice President, Chief Development Officer, South Shore Health. “We are truly grateful for the community’s charitable support, as well as the generous backing from all of our sponsors and attendees.”
Jumpstarting this year’s gala sponsorships are Norwell’s Digger and Susan Donahue, who recently pledged $50,000 in support of South Shore Health’s commitment to serving the health and wellness needs of our community. Inspired by the dedication and care being delivered by one of the busiest emergency departments in the state, the Donahue’s hope to encourage others to consider supporting the health system. “Sponsors make a tremendous impact in helping South Shore Health continue its mission to deliver high-quality, advanced care and resources to our patients close-to-home,” added Spencer.
More than 600 people are expected to attend this year’s Gala, which begins at 6:00 p.m. and will include both live and silent auctions. Guests will enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvre’s, dinner and dessert, followed by a short program emceed by radio and TV personality, Billy Costa. Attendees can dance the night away with music by the upbeat and lively band, Hot Mess.
