Dear Hingham Public Schools Community,
Due to the impending snowstorm that is set to hit tomorrow morning and continue throughout the day, we have decided to close all schools tomorrow, Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
There will be no Hingham Public Schools transportation for out-of-district students. All before and after school/evening activities including sports, fine arts activities, clubs, and before and after school childcare are canceled.
Hingham may experience anywhere between 4 – 12 inches of snow throughout the day tomorrow with a rapid accumulation of up to 2 inches per hour, peak snowfall occurring between 8 am and 2 pm. In addition, Hingham may experience winds up to 50 mph and coastal flooding. Due to the projected high winds and heavy accumulation, Hingham residents may experience power outages.
