The Crafty Place- 185 Lincoln Street
The Crafty Place is an arts and crafts studio that opened on June 1st in Crow Point. Created by Melissa Hare, the studio functions as a place for children and adults to express their creativity.
Custom birthday parties are offered for children, including a fairy garden event, a Taylor Swift inspired “In My Birthday Era Package”, painting parties and more. There is also a Summer Crafty Club that focuses on science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM).
Regular classes in knitting, sewing, crocheting and more will be offered for adults, as well as unique classes taught by local artists.
The Hermit on Green Street- 3 Green St
On May 4th, 2024, The Hermit on Green Street officially opened its doors, bringing a unique blend of vintage charm and local artistry to downtown Hingham. The shop is a treasure trove of vintage books, captivating paintings, local goods, and charming antiques.
The Hermit offers spaces where people can relax, work, and gather for intimate events. It aims to connect the Hingham community with local artists and business owners.

Turner James Salon opened its doors on June 1st and is owned by Kalyn Turner and Jodi Casagrande. The salon is curated to offer a relaxing experience throughout a client’s appointment.
