Thirty-three local high school students preparing to turn their tassels were recently named Student Scholars at Linden Ponds, an Erickson Senior Living community in Hingham, Mass.

These select student workers, who held positions as servers and hosts across the community’s on-campus restaurants, displayed an unwavering commitment to service and excellence.

To recognize their dedication and propel their promising futures, community residents generously donated over $280,000  to the Student Scholarship Fund—awarding each student at $10,000 scholarship.

To qualify for a four-year scholarship, a student must work 1,000 hours during a two-year period, maintain good academic and professional standing, and plan to attend a college, university, or trade school on a full-time basis (at least 12 credit hours per semester).

“Our student workers acknowledge how impactful these scholarships are,” says Philanthropy Manager Lori Rohleder.  “Thank you to all the residents who donated! These awards set our student workers up for success.”
