Hingham residents, Colin Cashman, Tucker Cashman, and Tom McCarthy are hosting a lacrosse and multi-sport camp for boys ages five to nine. The three friends have played lacrosse for over a decade each, covering all positions, and currently play for Laxachusetts. Colin is a rising junior at Nobles, Tucker is a rising sophomore at Nobles and Tom is a rising sophomore at Hingham High. The boys also play for their respective high school teams. They are running the camp to provide young aspiring athletes with a fun way to interact, learn new skills, and be active outside. While there will be dedicated lacrosse-focused drills, the camp is located in the backyard of one of the families’ homes, and there will be time for pickleball, basketball, swimming, cornhole, bucket golf, and fun.
Details are as follows: The camp will run Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the weeks of July 15–18 and August 19–22. The cost is $200. Snacks and lunch are included along with a keepsake fiddlestick. Camp runs rain or shine (will move indoors), and extra weeks or hours may be added depending on interest.
