Mary T. (Conville) Dillon, 94, a long-time Hingham resident, passed away on June 16, 2024 surrounded by love.
Mary was raised in Woburn, MA, and resided in Hingham’s Crow Point neighborhood after her marriage in 1949. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Paul in Hingham.
She was the daughter of the late Mary (Joyce) Conville (of County Galway) and the late John Conville (of County Kilkenny). She was predeceased by her brothers, John and Thomas Conville.
Loving mother of 14. Seven daughters: Peggy (Mark) Jones, Nancy (Ray) Stauff, Marylou (Michael) Tanner, Karen (Jeff) Lincoln, Maureen (Tom) McNulty, Betsy (Larry) Sullivan, and Amy (Jeremy) Lagomarsino. Seven sons: Bob, Jimmy, Matt (Paula), Kevin (the late Lisa), Michael (Carol), Paul (the late Khing), and Joe.
Mary was the best Nana to 30 grandchildren, Great Grandmother (Gigi) to 22, and Great Great Grandmother to two.
She was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband of 55 years, Robert Emmett Dillon, Sr., her beloved first son Robert (Bob) E. Dillon, Jr., and three treasured grandchildren, Kristin Wheeler, Matthew Dillon, and Jennifer Sheerin.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday, June 24, 2024, 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM.
Services will conclude with interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
