Each robe is a work of art, handcrafted by skilled artisans in India using the ancient art of block printing. This meticulous process involves hand-carving an intricate pattern into a wooden block, dipping the block into natural dyes, and hand-stamping the pattern onto 100% organic cotton. The result is a beautiful fabric with unique spots of color or other small variations — a testament to its handmade origins.
Fueled by MINOT founder Kerry Kip’s longtime love of comfy robes and current obsession with baby blue, the playfully modern nautical pattern on the robe is a collaborative design between Kip and Ella Alden’s founder Isabella Voitzwinkler. “Once Isabella and I landed on the pattern and color for the robe, it easily inspired the candle,” Kip says. Made using only sustainable and ethically sourced ingredients — soy wax, 100% cotton wick, and plant-derived oils — the 12 oz. candle features a captivating blend of sandalwood, amber, tonka, and a hint of citrus.
