PRESS RELEASE – HINGHAM POLICE DEPARTMENT
Hingham, MA- A crash involving a moped and bicycle resulting in serious bodily injury is being investigated.
On Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 5:14pm Officers responded to reports of a crash involving a moped and a bicycle in the area of Main St near Alexandra Way/Winter Street. The operator of the moped sustained serious bodily injury and was transported to the hospital. The operator of the bicycle had minor injury and was not transported. The area remained closed until approximately 8:15pm.
The crash is being investigated by Hingham Police and Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
