When you cross talent with effort you will get someone like this week’s Athlete of the Week presented by College Hype. Hannah Lasch is a sophomore on the girls soccer team who makes an impact each and every game roaming the center of the pitch. As impressive as her four goals over the past four games are, it is her hustle and ability to gain possession of the ball for her team.
“Hannah is a strong player,” says head coach April Tremante. “She continues to be dominant in the air every game. She brings a high compete level to every practice and game and she raises the level of play for all those around her.”
Senior captain Hadley Bello is most impressed with the way she sacrafices her body to win possession.
“Hannah is definitely one of the strongest players we have out on our field,” Bello says. “Throughout the past couple of weeks she has been outstanding in the air, winning every ball she can. Not afraid to put herself in front of anyone, with her head or with her whole body, she is always first to the ball and helps tremendously in the midfield. With her there in the middle she has created numerous assists for us and always makes sure everyone is working their hardest.”
Congrats Hannah!
