We end the 2024 fall season’s Athlete of the Week presented by College Hype with junior Teddy Anderson. Teddy recorded two sacks and a handful of tackles for the Harbormen on Thanksgiving day vs Scituate. While the outcome was not favorable for Hingham, Teddy will be one of few returners next season to keep your eye on.
“His play on Thanksgiving was nothing more than a testament of what his teammates and the coaching staff knew he was capable of,” says defensive line coach Mike Symes. “He got better every practice and he still hasn’t reached his full potential. A lot of teams are going to be finding out where #14 lines up in 2025 because he’ll ruin your game plan.”
Senior captain Andy Ross was most impressed with his versatility throughout the season.
“Teddy is an outstanding team player,” explains Ross. “Coming into the season he had a lot to prove, and he did that and more. Coaches were able to move him wherever they needed him. At D End, he worked to understand the position, and eventually became our best edge rusher. It was awesome to see him have a great season, and I’m excited to see him in his senior year.”
Congrats Teddy and the rest of the Harbormen and fall athletes on a great season.
