Tonight the Launch at Hingham Shipyard is proud to present No Shoes Nation Band, a Kenny Chesney tribute band. Opening for No Shoes Nation Band is Hingham's own, Low Tide, a teen rock band based on the South Shore and affiliated with the South Shore Conservatory.
The Low Tide band members, all ages 13 and 14 have performed at Hingham’s World’s End Summer Solstice celebration, The C-Note in Hull, the Middle East in Cambridge, and on a float in the Hingham’s Fourth of July parade. They play a variety of rock genres, ranging from classic to eighties to alt-rock, and their set list includes several originals. They hope to release their first album in the coming year.
Tonight, you can expect Low Tide to hit the stage at 6pm with No Shoes Nation Band at 7pm.
This is a free event and is open to all. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. Enjoy concessions sold by Patriot Cinemas.
