The deadline to apply for the presidential/state election Vote by Mail ballot is Oct. 29. Go to https://www.sec.state.ma.us/divisions/elections/voting-information/vote-by-mail.htm for details.
“We recommend submitting applications earlier to provide enough time for ballots to be mailed out and received back by Tuesday, November 5,” Town Clerk Carol Falvey told the Hingham Anchor. “Please be sure to sign your application.”
Applications must be returned to the Town Clerk’s office by hand, USPS mail, or the drop box at Town Hall. The ballot return deadline is Nov. 5 by 8 p.m. The drop box will be checked promptly at that time.
“We want your vote to count. Make a plan to vote — and for those voting by mail, please do not wait until the last minute to mail back your ballot,” Falvey advises. Let’s work together to make this process a successful experience for all.”
The deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 5 election is Saturday, Oct. 26.
