Sunny and Cool Start to the Week

Monday and Tuesday will bring lots of sunshine to the South Shore.

If you're an early riser, or putting the kids on the school bus, you'll really feel that fall is arriving. Morning temperatures will be in the middle 50s. This will be great sleeping weather, if you want to let that crisp air flow in through open windows at night.

During the day high temperatures will be about normal for this time of year, ranging from 70-75.

In direct sunshine you'll feel warm, but don't be surprised if you start to feel a bit chilly in the shade as the sun angle fades.

Bit Warmer Mid-Week

By Wednesday our wind will turn around to the south, allowing temperatures to warm into the middle and upper 70s.

Along with that warm up comes a touch of humidity, so it won't feel as crisp as the start of the week.

As a front approaches there may be a spot shower, but most of Wednesday will be dry.

Higher Rain Chances Late Week

Eventually the cold front will move through, bringing with it a slug of steadier and heavier showers. That likely happens Thursday into Friday.

Those days will, no surprise, also feature more clouds, though afternoon highs will still be well into the 70s.

Overnight temperatures will hold in the 60s during this time, thanks to the cloud cover and the slightly higher humidity.

For now, it looks like the wet weather will clear out in time for next weekend.
