The School Department will host a Kindergarten Orientation and Registration meeting for parents of children who are eligible to enter kindergarten in September 2021. This session is especially recommended for families that are new to Hingham or those who will have children in the HPS for the first-time next fall.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 6:30 PM via Zoom. Central Office and building administration will join HPS kindergarten teachers in a presentation that includes enrollment guidelines and timelines, an overview of the kindergarten program and curriculum topics, and a discussion of expected readiness skills.
