Catherine Greig, known for her connections to James "Whitey" Bulger, is now living on Cape Cod but has plans to move to Hingham once she's paroled a year from now -- July 23, 2020, according to a June 19 Boston Herald story.
When contacted by the Hingham Anchor about the parole process, Hingham Police Chief Glenn Olsson had this to say: "I have no new knowledge of this case that people are talking about. When an individual who is paroled moves to Hingham, we are notified by the state parole board. We have not been contacted about this case. When someone is paroled there is a standard procedure we follow regardless of who the individual is that is being paroled. This involves an assessment and review of that particular case."
Why Greig chose to move to Hingham is unknown at this time and her plans have not been confirmed beyond the Herald story.
