The Cornerstone of Downtown Hingham retail shopping, and popular women's clothing boutique - Chel Bella - will close it's doors June 1st.

Like many small businesses struggling with the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, Chel Bella’s downtown Hingham boutique has been temporarily closed since early March. Due to the current economic conditions Chel Bella will not renew its lease.

Drastic price reductions will be made to the inventory and online sale events are being planned for the month of May, starting this week.

The closeout sale will feature all of the boutique’s carefully curated inventory of upscale women’s fashions like Ulla Johnson, Moussy Denim, Mackage, L’agence and others.

“This was a difficult decision for so many reasons,” states Christina Reale, owner. “The south shore community has been so supportive, and it’s been a pleasure and a privilege to work with each and every one of our clients.”

Reale also goes on to point out “We’ve quickly pivoted to an online shopping experience offering free shipping. In addition, styling advice via phone and text is always available.”

Chel Bella will continue to provide updates via social media. They can be found on Instagram and Facebook @chelbellastyle.
