Chef Alison Hearn, South Shore resident and acclaimed local chef, has joined local Home Meal Delivery & Catering company, Clandestine Kitchen, as the Director of Culinary Operations. Alison has been an integral part of Boston’s growing food & restaurant scene as the Executive Chef of several beloved Boston restaurants, including B&G Oysters, ltd helping to establish a restaurant that focused on both contemporary and classic New England regional seafood. She was also the opening Executive Chef of Myers + Chang, one of the first restaurants in Boston to focus on modern interpretations of Asian street food through a New American lens for Joanne Chang and Christopher Myers.
More recently, she worked as the Director of Special Projects at Specialty Foods Boston, a high-end produce purveyor to chefs, sourcing incredible ingredients from near and far and was the Founder & Owner of former South Shore farm-to-table grocery at-home delivery company, Peggotty Provisions. She’s also contributed to the Boston Globe as a correspondent on street food, with articles on local restaurants, recipes and video demonstrations.
Alison now brings her passion and vast experience to Clandestine Kitchen where she will oversee all culinary operations for the Home Meal Delivery and Private Chef Services & Catering divisions.
