In the aftermath of the recent arrest of a Middle School substitute teacher, Supt. of Schools Margaret Adams, the School Committee, the Hingham Police, and Select Board Chair Liz Klein will be available to meet with community members tonight, Nov. 8, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Middle School library, 1103 Main St.

The School Committee and Adams have since issued statements about the incident, which are also posted on the Hingham Anchor website.
Statement from the superintendent:
Dear Hingham School Community,
I will be available to speak with the community this evening at 7 pm in the Hingham Middle School Library, along with representatives from the Hingham Police, School Committee Executive Committee, and Select Board Chair.
This meeting is meant to collectively address any community concerns that have occurred over the past few weeks and to answer any questions regarding town, police, or school policy.
We look forward to meeting with you this evening at 7 pm in the Middle School Library located at 1103 Main St. Hingham, MA.
