We asked Hingham designers to show us their favorite rooms and they delivered! Check out these swoon-worthy designs from some of Hingham's top designers.
I would have to say that this is one of my favorite rooms in Hingham. My client wanted a space that was warm, inviting and family friendly.
It was such a treat to work with this client on our second home together. This space incorporates so much of what I love from the white walls and sectional to the pops of color on the sofa and texture on the windows. We were both thrilled with how it turned out.

I have so many favorites it’s really hard to choose, but two are really special to me.
I worked on this space with one of my very first clients who was looking for ideas for a finished Playroom/TV room inspired by destinations they have traveled to.
We used lots of fun, punchy colors in the space, but especially in the powder room where we used a wallpaper featuring vintage Penguin Books. Their children enjoyed the paper so much that they started collecting the actual book titles! I love how personal, and ever inspiring this space is to this family.

This mudroom is definitely one of my favorite projects. It all started with a sentimental wallpaper being used for an updated powder room. That launched our mission for the perfect complimentary paper to be applied from the top of the ship lap and up onto the ceiling! We ended up finding the perfect option... a custom Galbrieth and Paul paper that now makes anyone who walks through the mudroom door giddy with joy!

One of my favorite rooms in Hingham is one I designed for a good friend.
It was important that this room be a chic space for frequent entertaining, but also comfortable for cozy family movie nights.
It was a fun collaboration , as we both love layered neutrals with strong punch of pattern, such as the navy leopard pillows

There are SO many beautiful rooms in this town and it’s tough to choose just one! From gorgeous entryways to chic pool houses, we are always finding inspiration in our beautiful coastal town. This cheery sitting room, inspired by Hingham’s preppy side, represents everything we love about decorating; interesting decor, bold color, fresh flowers, and of course, navy! And true to all of our designs, this room was decorated with budget and real life in mind.

This is a room that I designed for a family of five. Their laundry machines were located in the powder room and it was not working for them! The room was so narrow you couldn't exit the room carrying a laundry basket if the bifold closet was opened. Besides the narrowness of the space, I asked the homeowner what specifically was not working for her and she said that she did not want people sitting on the toilet looking at their laundry. As a solution to the space, we widened the room, steeling space from the hall closet and added barn doors to cover the machines as well as built in cabinetry and a folding table.

It's hard to pick a favorite since there are so many beautiful rooms in Hingham, but I'd have to say that my studio/showroom is my happy space right now. It allows me to be colorful, take risks, and the sunny vibe gets me through the long New England winters!

Choosing my favorite room in town is a tough one! I work to create an experience for my Clients that celebrates their individuality. When we built our home’s new entry way, I looked at it the same way. I have this thing with wallpaper. And color. And on the dreariest New England day, this room makes me happy. Most importantly, I love this room because it is the entry into our home. It is where our family starts and ends their day. It is where we welcome friends and family. And it is where our Golden, Osborne, meets us with the most genuine and loving greeting every time we come home.
