Diane Helen Bossé, age 54, passed away August 27, 2022, surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer. She was a beloved fiancée, daughter, sister and friend. Those who knew Diane will best recall her laughter, kind heart, positive outlook and love for her family and friends. She will be fondly remembered for her warrior spirit and fierce sense of humor.
Diane was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts on June 5, 1968, and was a 1986 graduate of Hingham High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from UMass and spent many years working in accounting at State Street.
Diane is survived by her fiancée, James M. Locke of Whitman, MA, her father Francis L. Bossé of Hingham, MA, her brother Brian L. Bossé and his wife, Karyn (Small) Bossé of Hanson, MA, her sister Joanne L. (Bossé ) Santarelli and her husband, Jose A. Santarelli of Hingham, MA as well as her many nieces and nephews, Cameron and Sophia Santarelli of Hingham, MA, Kyle Bossé of Windsor, NH, Shawn Bossé of Butler, NJ, Alyssa Small of Hanson, MA and Kristen Small of Greenville, SC. Diane was predeceased by her mother in 2012.
Diane loved spending time with family and friends and especially her dog, Taffy. Diane’s nieces and nephews meant the world to her, and she loved baking them cookies, sending them cards and gifts or having them sleep over in their younger years. Diane’s fiancée, Jim, was her rock and source of support throughout her long battle. Jim, Diane and Taffy took many road trips together and enjoyed spending time with Jim’s family in Florida and Maine and Diane’s family in Georgia.
Visiting hours for Diane will be held Saturday September 3rd, 2022 from 2pm-5pm at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel 21 Pond street Hingham, MA. Relatives and friends are invited.
A private family burial will take place at a later date.
