Early in-person voting for the Tuesday, March 5, presidential primary will take place at Town Hall, 210 Central St., from Saturday, Feb. 24, through Friday, March 1. The schedule is as follows:
Saturday, Feb 24, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday, Feb 26, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Feb 27, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb 28, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, Feb 29, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday, March 1, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
More than 3,400 Vote by Mail ballots for the presidential primary have been mailed by the Town Clerk’s office so far. Vote by Mail ballots will be sent out daily to those who requested them through Feb. 27, which is the last day to apply for one.
Vote by Mail ballots may be returned in the Town Clerk’s drop box in front of Town Hall, hand delivered to the Town Clerk’s office, or mailed via the USPS.
In-person voting on the day of the presidential election, March 5, will take place at the following locations:
Precincts 1-4 — Hingham High School, 17 Union St.
Precincts 5-7 — Hingham Middle School, 1103 Main St.
Precinct 7A — Willard Square, Linden Ponds, 201 Linden Ponds Way
The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Town Clerk’s office accepts voter registration over the counter, by mail, or electronically. You may apply online at https://www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr/. The deadline for accepting new voter registrations is 10 days prior to each election.
An acknowledgement letter will be sent out confirming any changes in voter registration status. “It is very important that you carefully check your acknowledgement letter for errors and contact us at (781) 741-1410 to report any corrections that may be necessary,” Town Clerk Carol Falvey said.
