Fall Trends

Want to ditch your lilly and lulu and step out in style this fall? Here are some tips from local influencers to help you up your fashion game.

Ruching

80’s ruching is back! Figure flattering on all body types, the runway loved this trend for Fall 2018. If you want the look without the Gucci price tag, this Leith dress from Nordstrom is perfect.

The runway was filled with animal print of all color and scale, like this look from Tom Ford. To add it to your wardrobe in a more approachable way, go for an accessory like a cross body bag or the hot shoe silhouette of the moment, the mule.

Sherling

The shearling coat does seem to be 'in' every other season, but it never gets old for me. This fab Isabel Marant coat is a modern take on the trend. I can envision Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn rocking something similar as they stroll the streets of Aspen. Who wouldn't want to throw this on over a pair of Levi's with a pair of Frye boots?

Booties

Our favorite fall trend that we’re seeing are eye catching booties! Booties in bold colors like cherry red, metallic shades of gold and silver, and brocade patterns give us all the heart eyes 😍 We love being able to pair a simple tee with a great pair of denim, and kick things up a notch with an unexpected shoe! *pictured is the *Sonya Pointy Toe Bootie by Louise Et Cie available at Nordstrom.

A favorite Fall Trend I am seeing and excited to wear is Floral Dresses! Floral prints are quintessentially a Spring look, but this Fall you will see them popping up everywhere. We Style Bloggers got our first real taste of Fall Florals in this year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Here are two examples of Floral Dresses I fell in love with instantly. The colors are moody and sometimes bold, and they look particularly fresh with white booties, another fun trend that I’m glad has stuck around!
