April 21, 2021 from the Hingham Police Department
A fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a truck is currently under investigation.
On Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 12:01pm Officers responded to reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a truck at the intersection of Main Street (Route 228) and Middle Street. The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital but did not survive. The driver of the truck was not injured.
The intersection remains closed while the crash is being investigated by Hingham Police, State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office and State Troopers from the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
