Carol Britton Meyer recently connected with Hingham attorney and author Chris Earley.

You can learn more about Chris below — his law firm, new book, favorite local spot, and hidden talent.

Name of business: Earley Law Group Injury Lawyers

Role in community: I own a personal injury law firm with offices in Boston and Hingham. My wife Rory volunteers a lot in Hingham and is always giving back.

Services offered: My law firm represents people injured due to no fault of their own. Most of the cases we handle are motor vehicle accidents, slips and falls, and dog bites.

What spurred you to go into the field of law: I fell into it and am grateful I did.

Your favorite part of  your job: Holding insurance companies responsible to pay what they owe my clients.

Goals in serving clients: To get them the results they deserve while delivering the highest degree of compassionate and empathetic-focused client service possible.

What you enjoy most about living in Hingham: Watching my kids play sports

What makes this community special: The opportunities. There is something for everyone.

What do you enjoy most doing in your spare time? Hanging with my wife Rory and our two kids, Oliver, 12, and Alice, 9.

Favorite restaurant and meal: Tosca’s bolognese

Favorite local spot: Locales Tacos

Favorite vacation destination: Bermuda

Do you have a hidden talent? DJ! I enjoy spinning old school house and hip hop records in my man cave.

Interesting fact about yourself that others may not know about: I am a serious meditator. Also, I just released a memoir on Amazon called “Scaling the Wall: One Man’s Journey of Healing Childhood Trauma to Find Fulfillment and Success.” It was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I am completely exposed and vulnerable in the book, and I have been very grateful for the response it has generated.
