At Hingham Public Library the Wellesley College motto, Non Ministrari sed Ministrare (Not to be ministered unto but to minister) is alive and well. Pictured here from left to right are Wellesley graduates spanning five decades of classes: Meredith Hollander 1995, Judy Sneath 1981, Aylene Calnan 1984, Eleanor Braun 2024, and Katie DeMarsh 2003. The essence of the motto is to volunteer and provide service to others. Meredith, Judy and Aylene are all volunteer members of the Hingham Public Library Board of Trustees. Eleanor and Katie are both library employees, with this being Eleanor’s very first job since graduating just last May!
