Tomorrow, July 22nd, the Hingham Little League 11U Red Summer Travel team will compete in the semi-finals of the MA State Championships at Piatelli Field in Milton. They will face off against Walpole, with the first pitch being thrown at 5:30PM.
Hingham is one of the Final 4 teams of c.170 Little League programs in Massachusetts, alongside Walpole, Holden and Stoneham. The winners on Saturday will play for the MA State Championship on Sunday and will represent Massachusetts in the Little League Regional Championships. All games will be played in Milton this weekend.
The 11U Red boys have had a phenomenal season thus far with an 8-1 record in Mass. tournament play and 73-24 runs scored versus runs against. This is the first time in Hingham history that a team has won the Sectional Championship and earned a spot to compete in the State Championship rounds!
