Hingham girls golf captured the Patriot League title in dramatic fashion on Thursday.  With that match on the line, the final golfer of the day, senior captain Emma Morris needed a final round score a 45 for a tie and a 44 for the win.  She finished up with a season low 45 (previous low was 47) that put her team in a one hole playoff against Duxbury.

Hingham sent out sophomore Piper Jordan and freshman Lauren Weber, who both parred the playoff hole.  The Duxbury pair both bogeyed, giving the Harborwomen the win.  The other teams also included Cohasset and North Quincy.  This was Hingham's first win against Duxbury this year.  They were 0-3 before Thursday's match.

Head Coach Dan Clune credits all four golfers for the win.  In addition to Morris, Jordan, and Weber (48 on the day), junior captain Niamh McGuinness shot a season low 40.

Congrats to the whole team on a great season.
