In the last home game of the season the Harboromen took care of business relatively easily against Mansfield on Saturday 9-3.  The win made them the third Hingham High School team of the weekend to make the Final Four.  Senior Rocco Egan, who was just named an USA Lacrosse All-American along with senior captain Nate Hoffman, was phenomial again winning face-offs.  Senior captain Michael Garrity continues to put the ball in the net with three more goals.  Junior Owen Packard extends his playoff scoring streak with three of his own.  Sophomores Chase Beighley with two and Cam McKenna with one rounded out the scoring.  Defense and Hoffman’s goaltending was again the difference in the game.

“We are going to lean on what we do best,” answered head coach John Todd when asked about his defense and face-off production. “If we can’t take care of business that way, we are going to be in trouble.”

The boys will travel to neutral site Assabet Regional HS in Marlborough on Tuesday to face 3rd seed Longmeadow at 6:30pm.

“Coach Campbell does a great job,” Todd said the Longmeadow team. “We’ve met them many times in the past, so hopefully it will be a good game and hopefully we find a way to slow them down and come out on top.”
