The Hingham Education Foundation’s {HEF} 6Th annual spring fundraiser was held at the newly renovated Paragon Boardwalk on Friday, March 29th. Over 200 Hingham residents turned out to support the foundation and be entertained with a Mardi Gras March Madness themed evening. Live music was provided by the local band Nectar, authentic New Orleans cuisine by Revelry and guests enjoyed a March Madness twist with a basketball shoot-off and skee ball competition in the arcade room.
The event helped to raise funds for HEF’s campaign to raise $180K in the180 days of school supporting computer science immersion in the Hingham Public Schools. Co-chairs Cyndi Smith and Barbara Froio gave a special nod to Fidelity's Hingham branch in the form of pralines dessert with their logo in thanks for their $10K donation to HEF.
Paragon Boardwalk is an iconic block of family-friendly fun on the boardwalk of Nantasket Beach. A celebration of the history, art, and amusements that make Nantasket a fascinating place. The Boardwalk is under new ownership and have exciting changes in store for spring and summer of 2019.
