Hey, Hingham students! Let's fight the social distancing boredom with a little friendly competition. The Anchor is delighted to announce our new contest that will help us all showcase what we are doing to help "flatten the curve."
Week 1 begins today and we welcome all submissions of photos and drawings that depict what your "new normal" looks like. This contest is open to all Hingham students pre-school through 12 (private and public schools are welcome to participate). There are no other guidelines so your entry could be a photograph that represents your experience or drawing of your family playing a board game, or of a beautiful flower you noticed on a nature walk, or even of your favorite pet who is keeping you company during these long days.
To enter, post your submission to instagram (or have a parent do it) with the hashtag #anchoredinhingham.
Each week, we will select two winners who will each receive a shout out from the Anchor and win a $25 gift card to their favorite local small business (which in turn helps our small businesses, too. It's a win win!)
All weekly submissions are due by Friday at noon and winners will be announced by Saturday at noon on our instagram and website. Each student can enter as many submissions as they would like.
