Hingham is back in the lower-risk "yellow" COVID-19 zone, with 93 new cases since last week's Massachusetts Department of Public Health report -- after shifting into the "red" category last week, with 99 new cases. Prior to that, Hingham remained in the "yellow" category for five consecutive weeks.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in Hingham since Jan. 1 is now 890, with 185 new cases reported in the last 14 days.
The mPathy COVID-19 testing site is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays at 308 Cushing St., except for New Year's Day when it will be closed.
Visit mpathy.org/schedule to make an appointment. The 7 to 10 a.m. slots are reserved for Town of Hingham residents and employees on each testing day. After 10 a.m., appointments are available to the general public. Walk-ins are welcome but usually have a longer wait time than for those with scheduled appointments.
