On Saturday, November 2nd, the NPH USA Hingham Council will host the 3rd Annual Love Without Limits fundraising event at the South Shore Country Club. NPH USA supports Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos (Spanish for “Our Little Brothers and Sisters”), which provides residential homes, health services and education to more than 6,300 vulnerable boys and girls across nine Latin American and Caribbean countries.

NPH is more than just a home to the 6,300 children it supports. What makes NPH unique is that the children they support are welcomed into a family for life and receive direct physical, emotional and spiritual support. The NPH homes provide security, safety and a sense of belonging. Children living at NPH homes are provided a quality education and have the opportunity to pursue a trade or university degree. Overall, NPH community outreach programs provided over 114,000 services to families in need in 2018.

The Hingham community has established a powerful and extremely impactful bond with the children of NPH. Over the last three years, forty nine members of the Hingham community have traveled as volunteers to NPH homes in Guatemala, Honduras and the Dominican Republic and experienced first-hand “love without limits.”

St. Paul School has sponsored a mission trip to NPH Guatemala every year since 2017 and will be traveling to NPH Honduras in April 2020.

Hingham High School students have formed an NPH Club focused on raising money, organizing donation drives and sponsoring volunteer trips to the NPH homes. Together, members of The Collaborative Parishes of Resurrection and St. Paul, and students at St. Paul School and Hingham High School collectively sponsor 169 NPH children across nine countries.

How can you get involved? Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend the Love Without Limits celebration on November 2nd from 7:00-11:00pm at the South Shore Country Club.

“We hope that the Hingham community will welcome NPH with open arms,” said Morgan Jefford and Beth Laine, co-founders of the Hingham High School NPH Club. “Together, we can help children overcome poverty and become leaders in their communities.”

The event will feature live music by Narragansett Soul as well as a performance of traditional Mexican music and dance by NPH Mexico Pequenos. Hors d’oevres and a light dinner will be served and volunteers from the Hingham community will be on hand to speak about their volunteer work and travel experiences to the NPH homes.
