The traditional festivities may have been cancelled, but there was no shortage of patriotism in Hingham on this Independence Day. Neighborhoods gathered for socially distant parades and celebrations, families walked the parade route, friends ran the road race to begin the day as they always do. See photos below!

Keeping the "Road Race" Tradition Alive!

Many residents, including lifelong Hingham resident Dean Hutchison, began the day by running the annual Hingham Road Race course despite missing all fans that typically cheer along the way!

Steve and Sarah Melia, enjoyed walking the route and enjoying Hingham's beautiful Main Street.
